The Summit Class
Commit to the Family
We equate church membership to belonging to a family.
This family is united by common beliefs and commitment to gospel, community, and mission. Like all healthy families, every member is uniquely cared for and every member cares for the family as a whole. When you join The Summit family you enter into a covenant, where we commit to you and you commit to us.
Membership Process
1. Attend The Summit Class
The Summit Class is an opportunity to hear from some of our leaders about our story, what we believe, and what membership looks like at The Summit.
4. Sign the Member Covenant
All of our members are required to sign and affirm our member covenant after committing to join The Summit family.
2. Meet with a Leader
After attending a Summit Class, one of our leaders will set up a time to meet with you. This is an opportunity to hear your story, answer any questions you may have, and help you take the next steps.
5. Be Commissioned as a Member
Once you’re ready to become a member, we’ll commission you at one of our gatherings as a way of welcoming you into The Summit family and sending you out as a missionary.
3. Get Baptized
If you haven’t already been baptized, we’ll baptize you at one of our gatherings. For more information or questions about baptism, see the booklet provided at The Summit Class.
6. Contribute to The Family
Our members support our church family through generously giving their resources - serving during our Sunday gatherings and giving financially to our mission.
