In this sermon we learn about both the basics and specific practices of prayer, as we look at the example of the early church in Acts.

We kick off our study in the book of Acts looking at how the first quality Jesus develops in his followers for the advancement of his mission is their understanding of their weakness, making his promise of power good news for our weary souls.

We look at Jesus’ promise of giving God the Holy Spirit, and explore the stunning claim that the Spirit inside us is better than Jesus beside us.
